What’s to Love about the Master of Divinity Program?

Overview
Andover Newton offers a nondegree diploma to students who wish to prepare for ministry in locally governed faith communities. The seminary’s key partners are the United Church of Christ and the American Baptist Churches USA, two denominations with particularly strong traditions of congregationally based polities.
Diploma Program
The Curriculum for the Andover Newton Diploma Program was approved by the faculty in May, 2018.
Admissions & Aid
Prospective students indicate interest in Andover Newton Seminary through their admissions applications to YDS. Any student admitted to YDS’s M.Div. program is considered eligible for Andover Newton’s diploma in congregational ministry.

Andover Newton maintains active ties with denominational leaders in the American Baptist Churches (USA) and the United Church of Christ.
