The Rev. Paul Sangree, Associate Conference Minister for the UCC in Vermont, will visit campus and join students for lunch on
Thursday, February 23, 2023, in the 2nd-floor Common Room.

Paul will offer brief remarks on the topic, “Why I enjoy parish ministry: thoughts from First Call pastors in the Vermont Conference, UCC.” Then, he will engage students in conversation about the transition out of theological education and into ministry. Surprising as it may sound, given that it’s small and includes no major metropolitan areas, many flourishing ministers started out in Vermont. It offers natural beauty, a low cost of living, a progressive worldview, and a great deal of support for those new to ministry. Come learn more.
