Andover Newton alums are actively serving the faith communities of New England. In this new phase in theological education in New England, we need to not just stick together but foster relationships that strengthen pastors and churches. One option for such relationship-building will be to come together in a retreat setting.

Sarah Drummond and Ned Allyn Parker will host Andover Newton’s second annual retreat on Star Island on August 1 & 2, 2019.

If you have never been to Star Island, you are invited to come to a free retreat in the summer of 2019, on Thursday August 1st and Friday August 2nd. This will be a lightly programmed retreat, an opportunity to unwind, connect with some colleagues and explore Star Island. The boat to the island leaves from Portsmouth New Hampshire, so you will need to get yourselves there by midday on the 1st, but your parking, boat ride and accommodations on the island are all free. In addition to getting to know Star Island, Sarah and Ned will be on-hand to converse about what  is happening in theological education for clergy in the congregational traditions.
