On January 26th, Seminary Snow Sunday 2023 will become available for download, and will remain available throughout the winter! This service is designed to be downloaded by your church and broadcast during inclement weather as an alternative to cancelling worship.

 

This special downloadable and streamable service featuring Andover Newton staff and current students will contain a sermon from 3rd year M.Div. and Andover Newton Diploma student Mark Dingler (‘23), greetings from our Deans, a Children’s Sermon, communion (optional), scripture, readings, congregational singing, and more! Whether you utilize this resource on an unexpected snowy day or to supplement your regular worship calendar, we hope that it can be a blessing to your community.

 

Details:
Starting January 26th, all churches who have requested access to the link will receive an email containing a downloadable folder with the services (one with communion, one without), along with bulletins in PDF format. Your church can then use the download as a livestream from your church Zoom, Youtube, or Facebook account on any Sunday you wish. Your community can then enjoy a synchronous worship experience, despite the weather!

 

Special note:
The two congregational hymns, though familiar hymn tunes, were written by ANS students and will be featured in the upcoming ANS Songbook. We look forward to sharing them with you!
