On January 20, 2023, Andover Newton Seminary and Yale Divinity School will sign official documents finalizing the permanent affiliation toward which they have been making phased, gradual progress since 2016. Please join the Deans of Yale Divinity School and Andover Newton Seminary at Yale Divinity School, Andover Newton Trustees, members of the YDS Dean’s Advisory Council to mark this momentous occasion. All are invited to celebrate how good it is when historic institutions, striving toward the same worthy missions, join together to create something new.

 

Events on the January 20th will begin with a special service in Marquand Chapel at 11:30 am where Dean Gregory Sterling will preach on unity, Dean Sarah Drummond will offer prayers for partnership, and the two will preside over communion together.
