Bio:

Tracy Redd Edwards joined the Andover Newton Seminary team in January 2021.  In her role as Seminary Administrator, Tracy oversees administrative functions of the seminary through engagement with students, faculty and staff.

As a Connecticut native with more than 27 years’ experience at Yale, Tracy is an administrative professional who specializes in communications, event coordination, and office management.  Prior to joining Andover Newton Seminary at Yale Divinity School she worked on programs and faculty initiatives in the Provost’s Office and has held positions in the School of Medicine, School of Nursing, Office of International Affairs, Office of Public Affairs & Communications, and at the Yale Health Plan.  Her Yale colleagues know her as an effective and thoughtful teammate with special gifts for creative problem-solving.

In 2017, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Human Resources Management from Albertus Magnus College and is committed to a pursuit of meaningful learning and making enhancements to administrative processes.  A lifelong churchgoer and administrative volunteer, she appreciates and understands the importance of Andover Newton’s mission and looks forward to being part of furthering it.  She credits the steadfast faith and support of her grandparents and close-knit community, while growing up in Ansonia, CT, to many of her successes.

When not working, Tracy enjoys spending time with her husband of 19 years, Hugh and their kind and considerate young adult children, Hugh III, Jair J., and Zaria Joy, and Rocky the dog.  She loves music (most genres) which often leads to her dancing and singing around the house, reading, the outdoors, and especially staying connected to her expansive family.
